Individually, they are strong willed, fiercely adventurous and bravely outgoing; and together, they are force of pure love. Laura is a fierce woman with a strong passion for human rights and equality, and Scott is a supportive and sensual being with a love for the arts and creative expression. Combined, they created a day that was truly theirs.

The day began with a promising bright, sunny, skies and no place was brighter than at the house of Laura's parents where she was getting ready for her big day. There was laughter, joy, and talks featuring the nobility of the common raccoon. Nonetheless, just down the street at the McLaughlin Art Gallery, Scott was preparing the final touches of their ceremony and reception. With an out-of-the-box thinking, Scott and I were excited to have his Getting Ready in the gallery's men's bathroom! It was the most fun I ever had in the men's bathroom that gave these images a unique feel foreign to the common scope of a wedding!

The ceremony was short and sweet with a touch of sentiment. With a small bridal party of 2, it wasn't a long wait to watch the beautiful Laura to come down the aisle. The joy in Scott and Laura's eyes was infectious! As they said their vows and pledged their love, a new tradition was taking place: their wedding rings were being passed around to all their guests so that they may all bestow their blessings and well-wishes to the newly wed couple. With a seal of the kiss, Scott and Laura were ready to celebrate!
